What's more fun than playing with a stuffed monkey toy? Drawing it!

I'm constantly sketching my family.  Like many people, my son only sits still when watching tv. The rest of the time he flies around the house like a bolt lightning investigating everything that isn't bolted down. His energy and enthusiasm inspire me daily.

Packed malls during the holidays are the perfect place to find subjects to sketch.

Here are some watercolor studies of the dog with the softest fur this side of the Mississippi.

I've been earmarking older studies that I'd like to showcase on the site.  This one went to the top of the pile.

We just got back from our vacation in the North Carolina Outer Banks.

We recently had a garage sale.  It's a perfect excuse to sit outside and sketch for 6 hours.
